^im stretched on these tires.. no problems! I believe when you stretched a tire with soft sidewalls it makes it stiffer right? correct me if im wrong.. But im stretched on these v12 and i love them..

Have these for stock 18's in the front, very impressed with them and like them. I will probably get them again when its time for new ones.

^ I have them as well and I could not agree more.

Peak grip is really good and the break away is very predictable and forgiving. But, turn in and tossablity stinks as you wallow about with way too much sidewall flex, night and day worse in that respect vs the Dunlop starspec's that came off the car. Running my Ohlins stiffer helps but it's a bandaid I'd rather not do.

I would have reupped on the Dunlops, but I had to have tires and could not wait to save the cash to get them. I came real close to getting Kumho XS for not much more $$, but didn't on wet behavior and wear concerns.

I've had them on for about 8 months.

Pros:

-Fantastic bang for your buck
-Great traction is dry and wet
-Predictable slip
-Quiet

Cons:

Soft sidewall. I would recommend setting your PSI at around 38-40.

Unless you are tracking these wheels, there shouldn't be any reason as to why you would have to worry so much about the sidewall flex. You should be using better tires than these for tracking to begin with (i.e. Kuhmo Ecsta XS)

Thanks Skater

i'm somewhat iffy if i should recommend these tires to my step mom for her 06 coupe. she drives pretty crazy all the time, but if higher psi helps with the sidewall ill tell her to get them

Dude thats a load of #$%^. These tires are a HUGE bargain. Have great reviews on likely every website. Maybe if stepmom is hardcore autocrosser I'd consider the posts here the criticize these tires. Ask tirerack who has probably sold a million of these. The wear rating on them is very good as well. I think their awesome. Have been driving for 28 years, cars from non modified to heavily. I researched these alot, this is the only website I have ever heard the comment. "I'm worried about the week sidewalls" Wouldn't hesitate to give to mom....................

Does setting the pressures to 38-40 address the soft sidewall issue at all?
