why do you want to exclude performance...these ARE performance tires.

I have used each, the Falkens on my G right now and the Nitto's on my AWD Talon. I'm not even going to compare because they are two different machines, but there's a reason I didn't get the Nitto's on my G and that's all I'll say.

Now onto the FK452's. I love them. They are more quiet than the OEM Potenza's and after a little break in they seem to grab just as well. I've had them since last August and drive just about every day on them. They perform great in the rain. They also perform well on the track. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a low-cost alternative to the Bridgetone Potenza's. Another tire to look at that has been getting some good reviews is the Vredstein Sessenta.

I have the nitto nt555's. I would go with the falken 452's. Im not really happy with these tires but i have heard good things about the 452's. Check out the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas too. Great tires!

nittos have good grip but in the rain they are not so good, 452's are good, now the Vredestein Ultrac that Raj was talking about are sick

I will tell you that even with AWD, the Nitto's didn't give me much confidence in the rain. Plus, they wore out quicker than I had expected.

Twin, how are your falkens holding up tread wise? I heard they wear down quickly.

Nitto 555 is one of the worst so-called performance tires ever made.

obviously the rears are wearing much faster than the fronts

But really, they aren't too bad. I got about 22k out of my Potenzas, and I bet I'll get every bit of that out of the Falkens.....and they cost 1/2 as much!

Go with the Falkens. I have had the 451s and now the 452s and they are excellent on dry and wet pavement.

Well, i'll trust your reviews and get the Falkens. Hopefully order them next week.

Going to run 245/40/19 all the way around to fill the front wheel gap a bit.

For those of you who are running Falken's all around, what tire size did you go with for the OEM 19" wheels? My fronts don't need replacing yet, but I'd like to change them soon, so all 4 corners are running the same tires.

Front OEM: 225/40/19 - Falken doesn't make this size
Rear OEM: 245/40/19 - I got these installed yesterday.

I didn't know Falken didn't make the 452's in the OEM front size, prior to getting the rears. I only got the car yesterday, and only the rear tires needed immediate replacing.

If I were to go with a slightly different size available for the 452's, how will this affect the overall performance, odometer reading, or safety of the vehicle?

Any input would be appreciated.

My Falken FK452's are,

Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 255/40/19

It's very close to OEM, my speedo reads about 2mph faster than what I'm really doing.
