Projector Demon Eye Wiring Problems

I have a 2004 g, and just bought 06+ projectors took them apart painted them and installed a led in the projector housing for the demon eye effect. I tested the wiring off the car up to a 12V battery charger and they looked great. Put them in my car yesterday, wired it up and they are probably at least half as bright. This is how I wired them up.

From my battery I ran a positive into my car through the firewall where I have it going through a switch, and then back out through the firewall into a fuse where it then splits and goes to each headlight. Grounds are no more than 12inches long and go to bolts.

I then tried a wire right from the battery to one of the led positive leads and they were bright again! How can they be so dim? Is it because i'm splitting them?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

What amperage is the fuse? What size resistor did you use on the LEDs?

Why add a seperate switch? Much easier to just tie them into the fog circuit.

with demon eye, you want to have a switch because you want to turn it on and off at will.
connect to fog circuit, you can only use the demon when your headlight is on
Unless, you can turn on the fog without headlight on.

Yes with the G35 many use the fog circuit because it can be turned on independaly of headlight.

I think I have solved the problem. I'm going to use a relay and then take the power right from the battery into the relay and out to the lights. Getting some thicker wire so hopefully this helps. I'll post pics before and after

no it cant. . imo most hook it up to a separate switch or to parking lights. fogs only work when the headlights are on
