syphon gas?

hey guys,

car show--can only have less than a quarter of a tank lol

I, of course, have a full tank...cars off the road, no insurance, my life lol

Anyways, am i able to siphon gas out of my 06 coupe?

Some people have suggested that i would not be able to since it is a newer vehicle

just let it idle?

I think most if not all cars after the 90s have some type of anti-syphon

it takes about a minute to pull the rear seat up and open the gas tank. siphon from there.

I've tried without success to siphon gas from the fuel filler door with a couple of different types of pumps. I haven't tried gaining access from under the rear seat but it sounds doable. Idling or driving around is not going to get it done unless you're planning to drive 250+ miles.

Get a crew driver and puch a hole on the bottom of the car where the tank lays or you can remove the back seat.

Can you just disconnect the fuel sending unit wire from the tank, thereby fooling the gauge into showing empty?

I'm sure if you drive city and smash light to light, testing your 0-60times and burning some donuts will definitly do the trick...

^ just in case something goes wrong and it does not have a 15+ gl of fuel to burn instead of 1/4 tank.
