that's not the blade.. that's your wiper arm, it's not pushing the blade down to the glass well.

There are springs in the arm, they sometimes wear. I'd suggest replacing the arms, but without knowing the condition of yours, i don't want to tell you to replace a good part.

This happened to me when I installed the rain-x blades. The problem is that most auto stores do not take into account the dark tinted part on the top of the windshield do not need to be wiped so gives suggestions for larger than necessary blades. When you have larger than normal blades, they catch underneath the wiper arm not allowing the blades to apply full equal pressure on the windshield hence the wet spot.

Staying with OEMs is your best bet unless you do winter driving in snow which a bracketless wiper then becomes useful because it cannot jam with ice like the OEm's.

I have this same problem on my '05 sedan with the Rain X wipers. I live in a cold / snowy area so I like the Rain X wipers on our other cars, but now it's a big problem driving in wet weather since I have a spot directly in front of me that doesn't get cleared.

Mustang5L5 suggested replacing the arms, I'm looking on ebay and Rock Auto, but I'm not exactly sure which parts I should be buying?

is it this? ()

or this? ()

or the genuine wiper arm?
()

Sorry for all of the links, I assume the part I need is the last thing since that's what has the springs in it, or I could try and reinforce the springs in my existing wiper arm.

Thanks for the help guys

best bet imo will be contact a dealership and get an oem wiper arm. don't risk impairing your driving on rainy days.

If snow and ice are problems in the winter then keep the rain-x blades because they are better than OEM in snowy conditions. Just go down an inch or 2 and the rain-x blades should be clearing everything with ease.

WTF's Snow & Ice? ^^^^ =oD

When I have an issue with my wiper blades skipping the very first thing I do is "Clay" the windshield, which removes all the crud. I like how the OE blades work on my ultra clean windshield so that's what I use. You may have an wiper arm issue but make sure your glass is super clean before you spend any more $$!

I have a 03 g35 sedan and have the same problem!!!! Every time i turn the wipers on if there not on full auto, and are on the timing setting about 5 or 6 inches from them being all the way down they shake, i noticed it at first in the winter when i got the car and figured the car had good wipers that shake to keep ice build up while driving. When summer came i see that's not the case. If there on full auto they work fine but if i set them on timing or push my lever down to just make them go across once they always shake right before their back down and it lets water fly up on the windshield i cant stand it and have found no solution to it. i know its not the wipers its the motor or something else causing it. i plan on asking the dealership this weekend when i take the car in to get my front 350z s tein springs put on. i got the back on two days ago, but cant get the front bolts to bust loose! SUCKS!

Hey I have the exact same wiper problem with my 03 sedan, did you get it fixed? If so was it the motors causing the issue?

I use "invisible glass" to clean my windshield and then I put rain x (liquid). With that combo I don't have to use my wipers at all (beads off rather quickly). Still use them, just don't have to.

If your motor is fine then it's probably a bad linkage.

After searching on google I found this incredibly helpful thread that matches your diagnosis: http://panoramic-3d.ru/forums/g35-sed...ping-hard.html

I'll order the parts soon and try to install it soon after
