G35 Sedan 2004 Halo/Angel Eyes Install... Help!!!

Ok, I just got a good deal on a halo kit from eBay. I know how to get my headlights out and to bake it on 200*F for 15 minutes for the glue for the lenses, but whats the best way to secure the actual halo ring to the housing?? Also can anyone help me with the wiring as my kit is not plug'n'play. I want to use the running lights, like the parking light in the side of the headlight housing, so I can switch it on to run in the daytime or turn it off from the factory headlight switch. PLEASE HELP! Thanks so Much!

just epoxy it to the housing. find a wiring diagram of for the DRLs and tap into them just past the firewall. should be an easy job. get a meter it'll make it alot easier to make sure you have good connections.

the epoxy is a good idea..id use plasticweld epoxy..as for the wiring no need for taping through firewall..simply splice them in to the parking light wires..easier and more safe considering the wires will be enclosed in the headlight housing....where you located?

I'm located in florida. I'm currently tapping off of a looped ignition wire underneath my engine cover. I'm going to use direct battery power with a relay like ttank suggested me to do. Ok brb i'm gonna go solder those wires in place.

Wiring is taken care of now right?

As for mounting them, make the holes the right size and they will almost stay on their own. A little silicone at the base under the hole to help and a dab on the very top to hold them back. Don't do more than that, if they are all glued down they will crack as the headlight expands and contracts with the temp changes. I have seen it happen to me and to a friend.

Yah wiring is all done

And where am I making holes now? I thought it was all clip down? I guess I'll find out Monday when my package comes. Thanks for the input though, I'm definitely not going to cover them in silicone. Also For putting the headlight back together, do U have to put the ccfl rings in the oven too, or are they completely mounted to chrome housing?

You have to drill out and mount the rings in the shroud.

Yes it can all go in the oven.
