Brake Pedal squeak

The brake pedal in my wife's 2005 G35x has been squeaking when depressed. Took it to the dealer, they sprayed some lube on the pivot, it stopped for about 5 miles.

Now it is back and worse. I applied some silicone grease to bracket on the brake pedal arm that connects to the brake booster and the noise again stopped for about 5 miles. This seems to be the area the noise is coming from.

Anyone else have this issue?

I have a 2005 G35x and had the same problem. I tried all kind of brake cleaners and lubes, but none of them works.
I finally fixed it by sanding the brake pads and the rotors, and re-applied brake grease on the back of the pads. When you take the front pads out, make sure to clean the dust stuck in the gap of the pads. I wish that helps.

I am talking about the actual brake pedal...but yes the brakes themselves sing a song of their own as well....I hate this car.

Oh sorry for the confusion. Yes, I had that problem too, but I still love the car
I fixed it by lubing the contact point behind brake pedal with 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, "Vasoline".

I also have a 2005 X. There are many after-market brake pads that will stop the squealing and brake dust. I put on PBR Axxis Metal Master pads at 20K miles on the original rotors. So far no squeak and virtually no brake dust. I now have 37k miles. Never had a shudder to indicate warped rotors. I'm bringing her in for the 37.5K service next week. I'll let you know about the brake life then. These should have been the factory choice.

Where exactly did you place the vasoline? I would love to get rid of this noise, my wife can not stand it. Thanks in advance.

Use your hand to feel the back of the pedal while moving it back and forward.
There are two parts rubbing each other that is the squeaking noise coming from.
Apply Vasoline on the parts that are making contact, and it should fix the problem.

Just an update:

On 10-13 I used a ton of simplegreen and a rag to clean up all the silicone lube from the pedal arm so I could apply the vasoline. Amazingly when I was finished the noise was gone and still is gone today. Maybe the simplegreen diluted the silicone lube and the rubbing of the rag pushed it into the pivot points where it needed to be. Not sure, don't care, just glad the noise is gone!!
