Rockford Polisher/buffer

So here is the deal. For my B-day, my parents were nice and got me a Rockford polisher/buffer from wal mart. Now I know it will not do anything for polishing, but I figure I can use it for applying and removing wax. They also got me some NXT wax, which I use now and am happy with it. I know all of you will say give it back and get a PC, but I am going to keep it and make the best of it. This was a thoughtful gift and returning it is not an option.

So....it came with 2 wool bonnets that fit over a 10 in pad. I do not dare use the wool because I am scared it will scratch. Is there a good bonnet that I can use to apply and remove wax? I figure someone should make something for us folks that have one of these type machines. Any way to convert it to use good pads?

Im not familiar with the Rockford Polisher/buffer. Is it an orbital or a DA? If it is a type of DA like the PC then you can just set it to a low setting put a MF towel underneath your pad and let the vibration do the work for you.

It appears to be a DA. I found a online site where I can by a 10in MF bonnet. So I guess I will get those or just rig my own bonnet for it.

Do you think the wool bonnets are safe for paint?

Wool is used for serious correction (deep scratches), but for just putting on wax i would not use it.
