How do you guys remove previous wax? Any kind of special soap when you wash the following time or no? And also, how often do you guys wax? And what wax?

This is what Zaino recommends.
Wash the car, going top to bottom, with Dawn liquid detergent (Most liquid dish soaps will do). Thoroughly rinse the car with a pressurized hose and spray nozzle. Make sure all detergent soap is gone.

if you don't have dawn or just another method in general: get some 70% isopropyl alcohol and dilute it 50/50 (i think it's 2 parts water, 1 part alcohol), stick it in a spray bottle and spray & wipe off with MF towel. that'll take of any existing layers of wax for ya!

you remove wax by doing a claybar on your vehicle. not by washing it with dish soap or rubbing alcohol. and you should wax your car every 3-5 months depending on how many time you wash your vehicle and if its garaged or not. remember wax is like hand lotion with every wash little by little it falls off.

I apologize in advance if i seem like an ***, but I want to clear things up because of what I've seen from my experience.

Clay bar doesn't always remove wax. Most of the time yes, but depending on the aggression of the user and clay bar, it really varies.

Dawn strips wax... for sure

Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) denatures wax too. That's why people use it on places where wax gets stuck. It dissolves and removes wax.

No wax lasts 3-5 months. Some sealants have trouble lasting that long!

Yes, bits of wax will come off every time you wash your car, but sometimes, depending on the wax, the wax will already be gone.

Again, I'm not trying to be an ***.

Dawn Ultra WILL REMOVE WAX... and its a hell of a lot easier than claybaring. also claybaring is not supposed to be done to remove wax, it should be used to remove small particles that are lodged in paint, using it as a wax remover will ruin it imo.
