CDN source for 21MM thin-wall socket?

My brother just got a set of winter wheels for his '07 Pathfinder from Tire Rack and the lug holes have too little clearance for any of my normal sockets. The factory wheel lock key just barely fits.

As the title suggests, any good Canuck sources for a 6 point 21MM 1/2" drive deep socket?

Anthony, from all I've read, a 13/16 is exactly the same size. I have a 13/16 six-point deep socket from Sears; it's a spark-plug socket, I believe, and it works fine.

EDIT: House of Tools might be a good bet if you do indeed need a specialty thin-wall socket.

I haven't tried a spark plug socket yet but would prefer a 1/2" drive (my SP sockets are 3/8" drive which is kinda wimpy for 80lb/ft, especially if you need to deal with over-torqued wheel nuts).

I recall when I first got the G that I tried various Imperial sockets from my Craftsman set but none were a close enough fit for my liking (and were 12pt to boot). Both of my wheel sets will take a normal 21MM 6pt socket without problems and will work with the OE lug wrench.

13/16" = 0.8125" = 20.6375mm, so perhaps a bit tight...

Snap On? They have one listed on their Canadian website but it's $30 for one socket.

Tire Rack sells Gorilla sockets for about $4 but I haven't seen local distributors for that brand. May just get the bro to buy from there rather than run all over town looking for something.

It's not actually, it slips on crisply and has just the very slightest play. That said, you should probably get the 21 if you can find it, I was just thinking the 13 might be a little easier to source, though that may not be an issue these days. I'll be out knocking around tomorrow, if I run across one I'll let you know where it is.

LOL, good one Ian.

I do know for positive that a standard 6 pt thin wall 1/2" drive socket with a short extension works equally as well with stock wheels.

Also as Swivelhippie said a 13/16" socket will work if you don't have a 21mm socket.

Princess Auto has a set of thin walled 1/2" drive sockets with plastic coating for assorted sized lugnuts. Every once in awhile they go on sale. I picked up a set and there worth every penny I paid for them.

Will this Gorilla Power 21" Telescoping Lug Wrench work for the G35 Lug nuts?

I'm using rims that have small lug hole openings and I'm hoping this would work.
