Best place to get new tires in the GTA?

As some of you know from my last post, my brake problem is now fixed.

When the car was hoisted up i noticed that my tires are now totally worn down to the "oh sh*t" bars (on two of the tires) and I gotta replace the rubber. Any suggestions in the GTA where to get new/used tires at a good price? I have winters already mounted on separate rims so I am gonna buying just straight summers (not all seasons).....

Can I mess around with the size (235 45 R18) at all? Any suggestions re: brands?

These are Gee35X's hand-me-down rims so let's make him proud!

Specs: 18" rims, 2003 G35 Sedan.

DO NOT go to wheel and tire zone (they have 3 locations). i've had horrible experience with them.

I actually had bad experience with Steelcase Tires... Not the best customer service attitude.

I have the option to get some gently used GoodYear Eagle F1 All Seasons which are size 225/50/R18. If I currently have 235/45R18's will I notice the difference mounting these smaller tires??? Anyone have the F1's on their G and have any comments???

The 225/50/18 tires are taller than your stock tires (stock diameter is 26.3, the 225 is 26.9" diameter)
Your speedometer would be reading 2.1% slow.
If you are getting a killer deal and you are just changing tires to sell the car, I would consider them.

^As long as you don't exceed 3% of tire size difference, it is fine. Won't trip VDC or anything, but your TMPS will read differently.

I was at Steelcase this morning and bought the Eagle F1's (225/50/18). THEY ARE AWESOME! I was very happy with Dan at Steelcase as well as their entire crew.

The tires were actually slightly used (although they looked brand new!) from a G37 and were still mounted on the original rims. They took them off those rims and remounted them on my rims all in under an hour.

Pics to follow when I get home from work.
