Question Raceland coilovers or springs??

Hey guys I was just wondering what your input would be on buying a set of raceland coilovers? Iv'e heard good and bad reviews. And most of the time you get what you pay for. Would a set of springs on the oem shocks be just as good? I Just need some ideas and opinion's Thanks.

Let me rephrase
Yes you can be on a "budget"

However Your budget sounds like your trying to scrape by with bottom of the barrel parts. (Aka every G owner now)
Your best bet here is to look for used coils in the marketplace

My cheap z springs got my sedan to where it was still drivable for a DD. Any lower and you have to budget for broken Y pipes, scraped up bumpers etc....

I've had Racelands on my sedan since February. I have no complaints. They ride comfortably for a daily driver. Not quite as stiff as I'd like but no real complaints.

What do you have to day about your Racelands now? I'm looking to purchase the Ultimo series soon.

Do you want to slam your car or are you looking for overall performance? Racelands are fine for slamming cars and riding comfortably. They've done fine on every other platform they're on and I know the G has leather and power seats, but it isn't any different in REAL life than other sports coupes. If you're looking for an inexpensive option to get pretty low with, then they're fine. If you're looking for something more, then you will need to spend more.

I'm looking to get slammed, good performance. I'm going single turbo and I'd like to get a good suspension. The thing that I'm kind of sold on is the fact that the Racelands are brand new and come with a 2 year warranty. Would used BCs for 650 be a better option?

You're going single turbo, but skimping on coils? Crazy..

You do know that to properly turbo your car it will cost you about $8-10k right? Unless you're gonna do one of those $2k jobs and blow up yer motor after 500 miles.

Yeah if you want to have someone else turbo the car "for you", it'll cost upwards of 7grand. I believe you're misled bud. I have purchased a used turbontics kit for a great price. You can talk all the sh#t you want. I'm simply looking for who has different parts, on their cars and what seems to go best for a G with single turbo. So to answer your question, yeah if Racelands products have improved and I get good feedback about them, then yes, I'll go buy $500 brand new coils with a 2year warranty vs. Used BC coils with no warranty.
