Thinking of getting 350z H&r springs

Hey guys im thinking of purchasing H&R 350z springs. First off what is the drop on a g35 coupe. I read its 1 inch all around? Is that true? Would I need a camber kit? And is there anything I should know about these? Like cons? or pros?

I had H&R's on my last two cars ('97 Integration and '03 S2000) and like them a lot. The ride very factory-like and it just feels tighter overall.

I had the SPC upper control arms and rear camber kit installed at the same I had the springs imstalled. I'm glad I spent the extra for them. I'll be happier once I get the VDC, ABS, slip light thing figured out haha. But now I don't have to worry about eating up tires due to alignment issues.

One more thing. I got the G35 springs. I'm happy with the drop in the front but wished the rear was a bit lower. I'm almost tempted to cut just a little bit of coil out but I'm betting it will settle. I just had them installed last week. I'm afraid if I hit the 350Z springs I'd be rubbing in the front. I'm running OEM18's with 25mm spacers so I'm happy with my decision.

Sorry to revive this thread but I just bought H&R springs and stock shocks off an 03 350z. How low will this go on my 05 6MT G35 coupe?

First of all, never apologize for reviving an old thread. Better to do that then have the search ***** pounce on you telling to use the search lol.

Anyways, if you bought springs specified for a.350z, it will be a tad lower as the Z's stock suspension is lower than a G35's. It will be a nice drop.

^ Search ***** wouldn't have a problem with him reviving this thread because he did search for it and posted here instead of making a new thread

I just installed a used set of 350z stock shocks and H&R's on my G and wished that my rear had more drop. My front sits pretty damn low but my rear could fit two finger gaps. PISSED OFF!!! Not sure if that's how it's suppose to sit. I'm guessing the front is supposed to be like 1.8inch drop and the rear 1.5. HELP ME OUT PEOPLE!!!!

If you wanna dig into your pockets a little more just get coils. You'll wish you did in the end but if you are on a budget then H&R's are def the way to go
