WTF!!!
ANYONE have suggestions on where to get these?
I got a set on Ebay. Just do a search for 'akebono decals". They print them in the colour of your choice. Actually I have a spare set of black ones I'm not going to use. If you want black ones PayPal Me $8 and I'll mail them to you.

You want to be careful with the paper grade.

For thread record this is what I have and is lasting Also a reputable store.

I doubt there is much difference, and they are vinyl, not paper. The key to preserving them is to transfer them onto a surface which has just been cleaned with alcohol, then once they are on, hit them with a couple of layers of high-temp clearcoat.

Hey there - I'm wondering about something:

If you wanted to go from Bremo's to Akebono on a 2003-2006 G35 Coupe - can you use the existing brake lines you've already got?

What I mean is this. Brembo's have a small hard line that screws *into* the back of the caliper and does NOT use a Banjo Bolt like the OEM non-Sport brakes do. (and like the shortened banjo bolt the Stoptech SS replacement lines do too). This hard line then attaches to the block connector end of the two part rubber lines which run from the suspension parts to the inner wheel well at a bracket (clipped in place by a flat spring of sorts) where it screws into the body hard line.

For that matter, are the rubber & block part of the brake lines the same on G35's, 350Z, G37 & 370Z's with the only difference being the little hard line that connects to the calipers of either Brembo & Akebono vs the rubber line + Banjo Bolt for the non-sport models of each?

And if they are different, do you need a set of the Akebono hard lines + rubber & block lines from a 370 or G37 to mate with the Akebono brakes? Or just one part of the lines and not the other?

I hope asked all that in a way that makes some semblance of sense lol!

I think you just need a set of brembo stainless steel lines, but I'm not sure. Email someone at z1motor sports.com if no one on the forum answers you soon. They'll know. Sorry I couldn't be more help .

I used SS lines left over from a Stop Tech BBK. Not sure if this helps. I know for a fact the stock banjo bolts for the stock brakes are longer than the akebono ones. I had to grind them down about 1/8" to have them seat properly.
