Did mine with G2. It came out great. Well at least to me it did, 3 coats. Also make sure you have everything ready. I had my car on 4 stands, wheels off, and everything cleaned up. I used 3 cans of brake cleaner and a wire brush to clean them with.

Debating

im debating whether or not to do my calipers i have a 06 g35x seday that i just got drilled n slotted rotors for.... if i do the calipers what kit should i use that willl come out almost show quality and not keep my car out of commission for more than a day. i also noticed in a couple of the corner spots in getting a little rust from it sitting outside, what should i do to prep them for paint

the duplicolor brush on stuff works great...i have stuff that its been on for over 5 years and they still look great....the brush strokes go away as it dries[ slower the better dont do in direct sun ]...dont try to re coat to fast ..or it pulls and u dont get a smooth finish....the red and black work the best the yellow and sliver dont have a lot of pigment to them and takes 3-4 coats to look decent..the red or black 2 coats and u done

I used automotive bc/cc. Had Nissan K51 basecoat mixed in a spray bomb(no catalyst so it needs to be cleared) and then used Dupont clearcoat and applied it with my HVLP gun. Looks a hell of a lot better than any brush on stuff

I'm in the process of doing my rear calipers with G2 for my 240. It takes a long time to strip off all the old paint though.... I'm thinking of just soaking the calipers in some aviation stripper.

I did mine on my old IS300 with the G2 paint. It turned out great and lasted several years, but my only advice is to take the calipers off. The prep working of taping everything off took FOREVER...

^^ think it would have looked better just keeping the calipers all silver without painting "nismo" on them. No need to bring attention to stock calipers.

Where did you get the decals/stencil for the logo?? And, did you take them off the car to paint them or leave them in place?

Looks Great!
