Nice, you should be all set. Next up should be a fender roll and spacers for those wheels so they are "hella flush"

Cool!
I have the fender rolling machine, I also have spacers in the front, that's why it looks flush in the front but none in the rear, what spacers do you recommend and how many mm's should I go with? Do they make hubcentric rings that work with thick spacers in the rear?

why cut the "thing" then. Don't it seats low enough with the springs installed?

I think we are talking about wheel spacers to make the rear wheels more flush

^I'm asking him why he cut the rubber thing if he's running H springs all around.
Doesn't it sits low enough with the springs?

No, the H-techs are notorious for not lowering the rear much if any at all. See the pics in the thread, they are all of springmount modded h-techs which results in a more even drop, including on my own setup.

now not anyone smart, but wouldn't this make the ride harsher? also, how safe is this? I know u said 6 months, but is that really proven milage wise?

Lastly, wouldn't it be safer to get new springs instead of this mod? again, just asking. Im nt smart by any means and also do not own a G35. have the G37, woudl this mod work? My fronts high but rear sits nice.

solopresident,

First off, this mod will not help you on your G37. This is only to lower the rear of the vehicle. It will not work on the front.

With respect to your other questions, any type of lowering will, in some way, make the ride harsher. Even though the spring rates in the rears are not being changed at all, and the ride will feel pretty much the same, if you go over a large enough bump, the reduced suspension travel would result in the car bottoming out and feeling harsh.

As for whether it's safe, looks like it. You are modifying a non-moving part which the spring firmly presses against. As long as the spring retains enough preload to stay seated at full extension of the suspension, there will be no problems.

Your front wheel gap is alot less than my 350z h-techs, but your front doesn't seem to be that low at all. What is your front tire size? Looks like 245/35/20 or 255/35/20

^ You are right... it is because i am on 245/35/20 up front... the 20x9.5 compensates for the wheel gap and also raises the car up about a quarter to half an inch...
