I guess I'm the only one dumb enough to not be able to figure out how to actually adjust the lights? What am I supposed to be turning exactly?

Mine are way off, so they def need adjusting.

help

How about 05 lights.
Can you use same technique for 05?

with 05 reflectors I suppose you could try aim them. so both sides are even. It's much harder to find the right indicator for the height. So you will have to to road test.

Hey redlude,

I just got my 06 headlights replaced, and according to my friend, he noted that one of my headlights was definately brighter than the other when I was behind him.

I'm assuming this is an aiming issue just as you described, correct? I'm thinking about taking it back for them to align.

.

Check it yourself before taking it to the dealership, just go find a wall late at night and see if the cutoffs are even. At certain angles, one light will appear to be "brighter" than the other because of the stepped cutoff.

I was told by my service advisor at the dealership that the lights are "ready to go" and do not require any adjustment, just "bolting them in." So... apparently Nissan is telling dealerships aiming is not necessary with this recall

yeah if they really did the "checking" there would never have been a recall on these.
