no need for that. just casually use both hands to cover it up and use your feet to dig the paperwork out of the glove box.

after playing with my V1 the last year or so, i could not find a good place
to mount on the windsheild without it getting blocked by the sunvisor while
in use...so ended up mounting it right above the cluster and
undid my hardwire. im now running the coiled wire to the driver side
12v power.

im not fond on that bulky hang it on the rearview mirror bracket either.

That is cool I was thinking of doing that too because there are no power adapters to plug in the radar detector besides in the center console. I think that is just so weird

why wouldn't you wire it to the rearview mirror, and why wouldn't you put the mute button on top of the a pillar next the sunvisor? don't you have to lean forward to hit that button where it is now?

i think it works anyway if you have an auto dimmer. also, are you gonna move that mute button to the top of the a pillar?
