I slapped five 10ohm resistors in parallel. I won't get technical but the end result is 2ohm. Close enough and it works.

You could probably search wikipedia of resistors in parallel if you want a electronics lesson.

I'm still waiting for someone to figure out how to work around the weight sensor in the passenger seat.

Haha, I must have forgotten about that thread. I posted in it like 5 months ago. I'm a dumb a$s. Thanks for the reminder though!

I've never seen a 2.2ohm resistor sold on their own, but I just checked today and Radio Shack sells a variety pack of resistors for 13$ that includes 5 or 6 2.2ohm resistors.

And yes, it works.

Got a couple questions: might be stupid, but here it goes.

1) If racing seats are installed, and the resistor isn't installed, are the front airbags operative in a collision?
2) Same scenario, but if the resistor is installed, are the front airbags operative?

Jeez! My airbag light isn't going out!!! You guys have any ideas?

I got the 2.2ohm resistors (not the 2,200 ohm resistors) and hard wired them into the yellow wires going into the yellow plug - just clipped those two wires and installed the resistor in between. I did that for both seats. I then went through the key on, wait, airbag light goes out and key off procedure three times. Then I cut the key on and just waited for a bit. I went through the same procedure again, and the light still flashes It flashes on/off 5 times, pauses, on for a bit, pauses, on/off 5 times and repeats.

Am I missing anything? I'm not that good at electrical stuff, so I don't really know where I could have gone wrong, or any ideas on how to fix it...

HELP!

no hard wiring, just bend the resistor so that both ends go into each opening on the yellow airbag plug, get the resistor in there real good, tape it up then go through the procedure with the key again, make sure when you hold the key you start counting right when you turn it

my contribution, these seats are now for sale pm me if youre interested or go here : http://panoramic-3d.ru/forums/archived-sales/199241-fs-sparco-torino-2-blk-gry.html

OK, I finally found the answers to my issues. On the '07s you apparently HAVE TO DO THE BURRITO TRICK in the link below in addition to the resistors to get the airbag light to go out:

http://panoramic-3d.ru/forums/showthr...hlight=bladder

So you remove the passenger's seat, remove the air bladder (the two tabs are a pain to use a puller on - so I just beat them through from the outside of the seat - you'll see two black push tab ends portruding from the "covered" front section of the seat), wrap it up and zip tie it snug, THEN you have to perform the reset procedure. I did it 6 times and now have no airbag lights.

The only thing I haven't done yet is to trick the passenger side seatbelt sensor in to thinking the seatbelt is always plugged in as well - since now the car thinks a passenger is always in the seat. I'm ***guessing*** that I can just splice the two wires and be done with it.

No more airbag light! WOOHOO!
